Brief Overview

Lendlease were appointed as Head Contractor managing the Defence contract for the whole of the works. The wider project includes construction of three large new industrial buildings, a 50m high block outfitting and ship erection hall, a 28m high block assembly hall and a steel fabrication and unit workshop, as well as a blast and paint hall.

End2End’s engagement comprised project management services for the construction of the ancillary buildings including offices and a canteen, which will house the future shipbuilding operations and are critical for the shipyard productivity and performance.

Augusta was responsible for managing the delivery of all the ancillary buildings across the site.

Key Achievements

One of the buildings, worth approximately $9.1M, was delivered within eight months and included a commercial kitchen with the capacity to cater for 800 people per day. We reviewed the design documents and found efficiencies in the construction delivery.

We also established regular meetings and tracked and monitored costs against each trade package.
